Overview

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
• Work Conditions: On site work is required; remote work is not an option.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to cooking staff
• Supervise activities of specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers
• Instruct cooks in food preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation
• Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events such as banquets
• Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff
• Requisition food and kitchen supplies
• Plan menus ensuring food meets quality standards
