Our client is seeking experienced welders. This position may provide immigration support, including options for candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

• Location: Timmins, ON
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $40.00 hourly, 84 hours bi-weekly
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full time
• Special Commitments: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, Overtime available
• Vacancies: 10 vacancies

Responsibilities

• Interpret welding process specifications
• Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment
• Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals, and processes
• Examine welds to ensure they meet standards and specifications
• Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
• Operate hoisting and lifting equipment
• Fabricate or repair metal parts using previously set-up welding machines
• Bond metal or fill holes using previously set-up brazing or soldering machines
• Leverage welding experience

Qualifications

• Experience: 5 years or more
• Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required
• Languages: English
