Our client is looking for a Family Caregiver. This position offers immigration support for qualified applicants, with potential options available for candidates seeking work permits.

Job Details

• Location: York, ON
• Work location: On site
• Salary: $21.00 per hour, for 35 to 40 hours per week
• Terms of employment: Full-time contract
• Special commitments: Morning, Day shifts

Responsibilities

• Administer bedside and personal care
• Assist clients in water (i.e. pool)
• Assist clients with bathing and personal hygiene
• Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walking
• Feed or assist in feeding
• Launder clothing and household linens
• Mend clothing and linens
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
• Plan therapeutic diets and menus
• Provide companionship
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals
• Cook

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
• Languages: English
