Job Overview

Our client is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to join their team. Immigration support is potentially available for qualified candidates. This position is permanent and full-time, based on a 35-hour work week, with a wage of $18.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation.
• Hire food service staff.
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
• Prepare budget and cost estimates.
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns.
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
• Establish work schedules.

Qualifications

• Must have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within food service.
