Our client is seeking a Telecommunications Service Tester for a permanent, full-time position based in Etobicoke, ON. This role is suitable for candidates with or without a valid Canadian work permit, and visa sponsorship may be available for the right candidate.

Job Details

• Location: Etobicoke, ON
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $36.05 per hour
• Hours: 32 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent Full-time

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test cable signals and associated equipment
• Inspect operation of telecommunications equipment
• Complete and maintain test and service reports
• Determine nature, cause, and location of trouble
• Initiate the dispatch of appropriate repair personnel
• Operate computerized testing systems to conduct service tests on customer lines and equipment
• Troubleshoot and locate faults
• Issue work and test permits to electrical and mechanical maintenance personnel

Requirements

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
• Experience: 1 to less than 7 months in telecommunications
• Languages: English
