Our client is seeking a medical orderly to join their team. This position offers potential visa sponsorship for international applicants, including support for work permits and other immigration needs.

Job Details

• Location: Matane, QC
• Salary: $16.10 hourly / 30 to 40 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent full-time
• Work Location: On site

Responsibilities

• Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities.
• Perform duties related to patient care and comfort.
• Supply and empty bed pans.
• Take patients’ blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
• Serve meal trays and assist patients with feeding.
• Weigh, lift, turn, and position patients.
• Transport patients between care facilities.
• Administer first aid in emergencies.

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high school graduation certificate) or equivalent experience.
• Experience: Asset.
• Certificates: Moving Patients Safety Principles (MPSP), First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate.

Working Conditions

• Fast-paced environment with varying shifts including early morning, evenings, and weekends.
• Physically demanding and requires manual dexterity.
• Candidate must stand for extended periods.
