Overview
Our client is seeking dedicated Personal Support Workers to provide home support services. This position offers opportunities for international candidates, as visa sponsorship may be considered.
Job Details
- Location: 1900 City Park Drive suite 3rd floor office 321, Gloucester, ON, K1J 1A3
- Work Location: On site
- Salary: $36.10 per hour (35 hours per week)
- Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
- Special Commitments: Overtime required, Early morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend shifts
- Vacancies: 5
Responsibilities
- Administer bedside and personal care
- Administer medications
- Assist clients with bathing and personal hygiene
- Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walking
- Change non-sterile dressings
- Collect specimens
- Feed or assist in feeding
- Launder clothing and household linens
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Plan therapeutic diets and menus
- Provide companionship
- Shop for food and household supplies
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals
Requirements
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Languages: English
- Experience: Will train
