Job Overview

Our client is seeking a dedicated Nanny to join their family in Toronto, ON. Visa sponsorship may be considered for qualified candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit. This is a permanent, full-time position with a salary of $20.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Change diapers and assist with toilet training.
• Sterilize bottles and prepare formulas.
• Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents.
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• Shop for food and household supplies.
• Travel with the family on trips and assist with child supervision.
• Wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens.
• Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children.
• Discipline children as requested by parents.
• Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
• Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children.
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
• Organize activities such as games and outings.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
• Prepare infants and children for rest periods.
• Supervise and care for children.
• Take children to and from school and appointments.
• Tend to the emotional well-being of children.
• Cook meals for the family.

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Experience: 1 to less than 7 months.
• First Aid Certificate is required.
• Clear criminal record check.

Location and Work Environment

This position requires on-site work at the employer’s home in Toronto, ON. The work environment is non-smoking and scent-free. Public transportation is available, and the candidate must be willing to travel regularly.
