Job Overview

Our client is seeking a skilled painter for motor vehicle repair. Immigration support may be available for overseas candidates. This is a permanent, full-time position with a competitive hourly wage.

Job Details

• Location: 5810 Shawson Dr, Mississauga, ON, L4W 3W5
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $27.50 per hour, 35 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent full-time
• Special Commitments: Overtime required, Morning, Day, Evening shifts
• Number of Vacancies: 2

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate professionalism in customer service
• Clean and maintain workspace
• Instruct apprentices
• Replace front-end components, body components, doors, and frame
• File, grind, and sand body surfaces to be repaired
• Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting
• Apply primers and repaint surfaces
• Repair or replace interior components
• Mix paint, blend, and match colors
• Straighten bent frames using pulling and anchoring equipment

Qualifications

Education

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

• 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience

Work Conditions and Capabilities

• Fast-paced environment
• Bending, crouching, kneeling required
• Standing for extended periods
