Food Service Supervisor in Wasaga Beach – Work Visa Support Available

Job Overview

Our client is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to join their team. Immigration support may be available for overseas candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit. This is a permanent full-time position located on-site in Wasaga Beach, Ontario.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish methods to meet work schedules.
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.
• Hire food service staff.
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns.
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage.
• Prepare and submit reports.

Supervision

• Supervise 5-10 staff members.

Work Conditions

• Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Combination of sitting, standing, and walking; standing for extended periods.
• Physically demanding with attention to detail.
• Handling heavy loads and large workloads.

Qualifications

Education

• No degree, certificate, or diploma required.

Experience

• 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience.

Skills

• Client-focused with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Dependable and organized with the ability to multitask.
• Efficient interpersonal skills and a team player.
• Flexible in approach to work responsibilities.

Compensation

• Hourly wage: $17.20 for 35 hours per week.
• Overtime required; shifts may include early mornings, days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
