• Salary: $32.00 hourly for 30 to 48 hours per week

Overview

Education: College diploma or equivalent (1 to 2 years program preferred); experience is valuable.

Languages: English

Experience: 1 to less than 2 years

Responsibilities

• Estimate supplies and food costs; maintain records of food costs and inventory.
• Supervise activities of chefs and kitchen staff.
• Create new recipes and instruct cooks on food preparation and presentation.
• Prepare meals for events and special guests; ensure food quality standards are met.
• Train staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling.

Experience and Specialization

• Cuisine Specialties: Thai
• Food Specialties: Cold kitchen, Eggs and dairy, Fish and seafood, Meat

Physical Demands

• Fast-paced environment and ability to work under pressure.
• Handling heavy loads (between 45 and 60 kg).
• Standing for extended periods.
