Job Details

• Location: Calgary, AB
• Work location: On site
• Salary: $36.00 per hour for 40 hours per week
• Employment Type: Permanent, Full time
• Overtime required, Early morning, Evening, Weekend, Shift, On call

Responsibilities

• Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant’s profits.
• Develop budget to determine cost of food, ingredients, and supplies.
• Evaluate daily operations and modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget.
• Monitor staff performance and plan daily operations.
• Recruit and train staff, set work schedules, and supervise staff.
• Balance cash and complete relevant reports and forms.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Negotiate arrangements with suppliers.
• Provide exceptional customer service and handle complaints.

Qualifications

• Education: College diploma or equivalent experience in fields such as International Business, Computer Science, or Marketing.
• Experience: 3 to 5 years in a similar role.
• Languages: English is essential; Spanish is an asset.

Skills & Certifications

• Food service manager certification.
• Responsible Beverage Service Certificate.
• Customer Service Excellence Certificate.
• WHMIS Certificate.
• Safe Food Handling Certificate.
