Our client is seeking a Forklift Mechanic to join their team in Brampton, ON. This role is suitable for both local residents and other candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit. Visa sponsorship may be considered for qualified applicants.

Job Details

• Location: Brampton, ON
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $28.50 per hour (30 hours per week)
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time

Responsibilities

• Adjust, repair or replace electrical system parts
• Adjust, repair or replace mechanical system parts
• Diagnose and isolate faults on engines
• Discuss work with supervisor
• Document inspections and tests made on engines
• Estimate repair costs
• Read blueprints to determine work requirements
• Review work orders
• Perform scheduled maintenance and service
• Advise customers on work performed and condition of equipment
• Repair and rebuild hoisting mechanisms and other mechanical systems on industrial trucks and forklifts
• Test and adjust repaired equipment for proper performance

Requirements

Education

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

• 1 to less than 7 months

Languages

• English
