Our client is seeking a Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) in Brampton, ON. This position provides an opportunity for both local and international applicants, with potential visa support available.

Job Details

• Location: Brampton, ON
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $46.50 per hour
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full time
• Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures to patients
• Operate computerized tomography (CT) scanners
• Perform scheduled maintenance and minor repairs on equipment
• Position patients for examinations
• Supervise technical staff
• Train technicians, assistants, students, or interns
• Record and process results of procedures
• Explain procedures and their side effects
• Perform quality control checks on equipment
• Record and process patient data
• Provide appropriate care and monitoring of patients during examinations
• Consult with government regulatory agencies

Qualifications

• Education: College/CEGEP or equivalent experience
• Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
• Certification: Certification of the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists
