Job Overview

Our client is seeking a Baking and Confectionery Making Foreman/Woman. This position may offer visa sponsorship for qualified international applicants, including those with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Salary and Employment Details

• Salary: $36.10 hourly for 30 to 35 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, full-time
• Overtime Required

Job Responsibilities

• Minimize hazards at all stages of the food production process.
• Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
• Prepare production and other reports.
• Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
• Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule activities of workers.
• Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other units.
• Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies.
• Resolve work problems and provide technical advice.

Qualifications

Education

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

• 1 year to less than 2 years

Skills and Certifications

• Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) Certification
• Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
