Our client is seeking skilled automobile mechanics to join their team in Montréal, QC. We encourage international applicants as visa sponsorship may be considered for qualified candidates.

Job Details

• Location: Montréal, QC
• Salary: CAD 33.00 per hour (70 hours bi-weekly)
• Employment Type: Full-time, Term or Contract
• Work Setting: Garage (On-site)

Job Responsibilities

• Confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace units.
• Discuss work with supervisor.
• Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
• Inspect motor in operation.
• Review work orders.
• Road test motor vehicles.
• Test automotive systems and components.
• Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems.
• Repair or replace mechanical units or components.
• Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer’s specifications.
• Estimate parts and labor cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Perform scheduled maintenance service.
• Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements.
• Complete reports to record problems and work performed.
• Provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Education: Registered Apprenticeship Certificate.
• Certification: Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification.
• Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year in automotive repair.
