• Location: Red Deer, AB
• Salary: $7,000 to $12,000 weekly (To be negotiated)
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full time

Responsibilities

• Collect medical information from patients and family members
• Examine and diagnose patients’ health conditions
• Help patients develop healthy habits
• Order laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures
• Consult with other medical practitioners
• Prescribe medications and treatments
• Vaccinate patients to prevent diseases
• Advise on health care matters
• Advocate for patients
• Coordinate primary patient care
• Provide acute care management
• Support patients and families on health issues

Qualifications

• Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine or optometry
• Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC)
• Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years in a relevant field is preferred.
