Job Overview

Our client is seeking a skilled cabinetmaker for permanent, full-time employment. Visa sponsorship is potentially available for overseas candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Job Details

• Location: 185 Advance Blvd, Brampton, ON, L6T 4Y3
• Salary: $36.25 hourly, 30 hours per week
• Work Location: On site
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time
• Special Commitments: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend
• Vacancies: 1

Responsibilities

• Operate woodworking machines to cut, shape and form parts and components
• Prepare specifications of custom-made cabinets
• Shape surfaces or edges of wood workpieces using hand tools
• Instruct apprentices and supervise other workers
• Study plans, specifications, or drawings of items to be made
• Trim joints and fit parts together to form complete units
• Sand wooden surfaces and apply finishes
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Repair or restyle wooden furniture and fixtures

Qualifications

Education

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Experience

• 1 to less than 7 months
