Our client is seeking an experienced Early Childhood Educator (ECE) to join their team. This role is open to applicants including those with or without a valid Canadian work permit, providing opportunities for international candidates seeking LMIA visa jobs in Canada or jobs with Canadian PNP sponsorship.

Job Details

• Location: Abbotsford, BC
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $28.50 to $37.00 hourly (To be negotiated)

Responsibilities

• Assess children’s development and prepare tailored learning plans.
• Assist with housekeeping and cooking duties.
• Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers.
• Develop child-care programs promoting physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
• Maintain daycare equipment.
• Supervise staff, trainees, or volunteers.
• Communicate children’s progress to parents.
• Lead activities such as storytelling and teaching songs.
• Encourage children’s creativity through various activities.
• Observe children for signs of developmental or behavioral issues.
• Prepare snacks and arrange for rest periods.
• Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community providers.

Qualifications

• Education: College/CEGEP required.
• Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate and First Aid Certificate.
• Experience: Asset, but not mandatory.
• Languages: Proficiency in English.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Criminal record check required.
