Our client is seeking an Electric Motor Assembler for a permanent, full-time position. Visa sponsorship may be considered for overseas candidates.

• Work location: On site
• Salary: $23.00 per hour for 40 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Assemble and fit metal and prefabricated parts to close tolerances according to blueprints
• Assemble stators or armatures for heavy-duty electric motors
• Assemble winding into core and make electrical connections
• Interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics, and blueprints
• Assemble and fit electrical motor or transformer auxiliary equipment
• Fit electrical control devices into switchboards and panelboards
• Wire electrical connections for switchboards and panel boards
• Check final assembly for adherence to quality control standards

Qualifications

• Languages: English
• Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma (1-2 years)
• Experience: 2 to less than 3 years
• On site: Work must be completed at the physical location; there is no option to work remotely.
