Job Overview

Our client is seeking an Assistant Manager for their restaurant. Visa sponsorship may be considered for qualified candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit. This is a permanent, full-time position located on-site in Calgary, AB.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize daily operations
• Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
• Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
• Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns
• Provide customer service

Supervision

Supervise 5-10 staff members.

Job Details

• Location: 2750 Sunridge Blvd NE, Calgary, AB T1Y 3C2
• Salary: CAD 36.00 per hour for 35 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, full-time
• Work Schedule: Early morning, morning, day, evening, night, weekend, shift

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role
• Languages: English
