Position: Child Caregiver – Private Home

Location: Newmarket, ON

Responsibilities

• Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents.
• Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties.
• Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children.
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
• Organize activities such as games and outings for children.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
• Supervise and care for children.

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
• Experience: Experience is an asset.
• Language: English.
• Certificates: First Aid Certificate.
• Security and safety: Criminal record check.

Work Environment

• Non-smoking environment.
• Work setting is in the employer’s/client’s home with staff accommodation provided.

Salary and Employment

• Salary: $20.00 hourly.
• Type: Term or contract, full-time.
• Availability: Starts as soon as possible.
• Vacancies: 1 vacancy.
