Our client is seeking a talented Interior Designer. This position offers visa sponsorship opportunities for overseas candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Job Details

• Location: Calgary, AB
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $36.10 hourly / 40 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full time
• Special Commitments: Flexible hours, Overtime available

Responsibilities

• Estimate cost of projects
• Prepare detailed specifications
• Work in a multidisciplinary environment
• Create interior spaces that reflect clients’ needs and tastes
• Read blueprints, schemas, and drawings
• Advise on selection of colours, finishes, materials, lighting, and furniture
• Consult with clients to determine their needs and preferences
• Develop detailed plans and 3-D models showing arrangements
• Develop plans, elevations, cross sections, and detailed drawings

Experience and Specialization

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
• Computer Knowledge: AutoCAD, Autodesk REVIT
• Area of Specialization: Interior design, Furniture design, Residential

Additional Information

• Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver’s licence
• Work Conditions: Attention to detail, ability to distinguish between colours, fast-paced environment
