Our client is seeking a cabinetmaker with immigration support potentially available for qualified applicants. This position offers opportunities for international candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Job Details

• Location: 96 Couling Crescent, Guelph, ON, N1E 0J8
• Salary: $34.10 hourly / 35 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full time
• Special Commitments: Morning, Day, Evening
• Vacancies: 2

Responsibilities

• Operate woodworking machines to cut, shape and form parts and components
• Prepare specifications for custom-made cabinets that maximize storage
• Shape surfaces or edges of wood workpieces using hand tools
• Study plans, specifications or drawings of articles to be made
• Trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together
• Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain or polish
• Maintain clean and safe work environment
• Supervise other workers
• Estimate costs and materials
• Repair or restyle wooden furniture and fixtures

Requirements

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: Will train
• Languages: English
