Job Overview

Our client is seeking an Industrial Plant Cleaning Supervisor who will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and safety standards of our facilities. We are open to international candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Job Details

• Location: Woodstock, ON
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $28.00 to $34.00 hourly (To be negotiated)
• Terms of Employment: Permanent full-time
• Overtime: Required, with various shifts including early morning, day, evening, night, and weekends
• Vacancies: 1

Responsibilities

• Hire and train cleaning staff
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of cleaning workers
• Inspect sites to ensure safety and cleanliness standards
• Recommend additional services like painting or repair work
• Co-ordinate work activities with other departments
• Establish work schedules and perform maintenance on equipment
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Perform the same duties as workers supervised

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
• Certificates: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate

Work Environment

• Work at heights, in confined spaces, noisy and dirty conditions
• Fast-paced environment with physical demands
• Manual dexterity required
