Our client is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Manager. Immigration support is potentially available for overseas candidates.

• Location: Jaffray, BC
• Work Setting: On-site, Cafeteria
• Salary: $36.60 to $37.00 hourly (To be negotiated), 40 to 50 hours per week
• Employment Type: Permanent, Full time
• Special Commitments: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift

Responsibilities

• Establish methods to meet work schedules
• Requisition food and kitchen supplies
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
• Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
• Prepare budget and cost estimates
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
• Prepare and submit reports
• Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys
• Establish work schedules

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 1 to 2 years
