Job Overview

Our client is seeking a skilled Mechanic for Aircraft Engine Repair and Overhaul. We welcome applications from international candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit. Visa sponsorship may be considered for the right candidate.

• Salary: $37.88 to $43.60 per hour (to be negotiated)

Responsibilities

• Inspect structural and mechanical systems of aircraft to meet standards of performance and safety.
• Repair and overhaul aircraft structural, mechanical, or hydraulic systems.
• Install or modify aircraft engines and associated mechanical systems.
• Maintain detailed repair, inspection, and certification records.
• Dismantle and reassemble airframes and aircraft systems for repair and cleaning.
• Inspect the work of aircraft mechanics to ensure adherence to standards.
• Document routine maintenance and manage inventory of parts and supplies.
• Interpret blueprints, specifications, and written technical instructions.

Experience and Qualifications

• Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a 1 to 2-year program.
• Experience: 1 to less than 2 years in related fields.
• Languages: English
• Computer/Technology Knowledge: Data acquisition systems (DAS or DAQ).
• Specialization: Mechanical maintenance and repair of turbine engines.

Working Conditions

• Physically demanding, handling heavy loads, and standing for extended periods.
• Basic security clearance and criminal record check are required.
