We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our client. This position welcomes applications from candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit. Immigration support may be available for overseas candidates.

• Salary: $31.50 to $35.50 hourly (To be negotiated)
• Terms of Employment: Permanent full-time

Overview

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
• Languages: English
• Experience: Previous experience is an asset

Work Environment

• Outdoors, at heights, underground, confined spaces, noisy, dangerous, dusty, cold/refrigerated, and hot conditions
• Work settings include docksides, remote locations, construction sites, and various urban areas

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and transport construction materials
• Read blueprints to determine work requirements
• Erect and dismantle forms, scaffolding, and barricades
• Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
• Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction
• Perform routine maintenance and clean up at construction sites
• Direct traffic at or near construction sites

Safety and Skills

• Must possess personal protective equipment (PPE) training
• Experience with various construction equipment is an asset
• Compliance with security checks will be necessary

Working Conditions

• Physically demanding work in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to travel, work various shifts, and handle heavy loads is required
