Job Details

• Location: St. John’s, NL
• Salary: $16.20 per hour, 30 to 40 hours per week
• Work Location: On site
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
• Vacancies: 5
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Responsibilities

• Bring clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas and set tables.
• Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
• Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
• Keep records of the quantities of food used.
• Package take-out food.
• Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items.
• Serve customers at counters or buffet tables.
• Take customers’ orders.
• Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.

Qualifications

• Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
• Certificates: Food Safety Certificate.
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role.

Work Conditions

• Physically demanding tasks and standing for extended periods
• Attention to detail required

Transportation

• Own transportation is required; public transportation is available.
