Job Details

We are seeking a Home Child Care Provider with flexible hours and visa sponsorship available for overseas candidates. This position is permanent and full-time, located at the employer’s home in North Saanich, BC.

Key Responsibilities

• Assume full responsibility for household in the absence of parents.
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• Discipline children according to methods requested by the parents.
• Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
• Supervise and care for children.
• Transport children to and from school and appointments.
• Tend to the emotional well-being of children.
• Assist children with homework.

Work Conditions

• Public transportation is available; travel expenses will be paid by the employer.
• Repetitive tasks.
• Work must be completed on-site; remote work is not an option.

Candidate Requirements

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 1 to less than 7 months.
• Efficient interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Flexibility, initiative, and organizational skills are essential.
• References required.
