Qualifications:

  • Class 1 license with AIR BRAKE ENDORSEMENT
  • Knowledge of reefer and heater systems is an asset
  • Ability to work effectively in both team and solo settings
  • Must provide a criminal record check and a clean driver abstract
  • Reliability and dependability are essential
  • Flexible work schedule required
  • Oversee vehicle condition and inspect tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment
  • Good communication skills
  • Maintain a detailed trip logbook
  • Willingness to travel for extended periods, including across borders
  • Perform brake adjustments
  • Conduct pre-trip, on-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicle systems and accessories (tires, lights, brakes, cold storage)
