Job Details

• Location: St. Andrews, MB
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $30.25 per hour / 40 to 50 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent full-time
• Vacancies: 10 openings

Responsibilities

• Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions using GPS or other navigation systems to minimize fuel consumption.
• Load and unload goods.
• Operate and drive trucks to transport goods and materials.
• Inspect vehicle condition, including tires, lights, and brakes.
• Perform emergency roadside repairs.
• Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption.
• Tarp cargo to ensure safety and security.

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Language: English
• Experience: Experience appreciated but not required.
• Certificates: Air Brakes Endorsement, Class 1/1F/A Licence.
• Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
