Bookkeeper Position

Job Overview

Our client is seeking a Bookkeeper to join their team. This role offers opportunities for immigration support, including visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.

Job Details

• Location: 5920 – 68 Street S.E., Calgary, AB, T2C 4R8
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $36.00 hourly / 35 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent employment, Full time
• Shifts: Overtime required, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Flexible hours

Responsibilities

• Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll.
• Calculate fixed assets and depreciation.
• Maintain financial records and manage various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
• Prepare general ledgers and financial statements.
• Compile other statistical and accounting reports.
• Prepare tax returns and trial balances.
• Reconcile accounts.

Requirements

Education

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

• 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience.

Computer Knowledge

• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, QuickBooks, MS Office.
