Our client is seeking a landscaping foreman/woman to join their team. This opportunity offers immigration support for overseas candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit. Relocation costs will be covered by the employer.

• Location: Various locations in Saanichton and Victoria, BC
• Work Location: On-site
• Salary: $35.00 to $40.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 40 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent employment, Full time
• Work Conditions: Morning, Day, Flexible hours, Overtime available

Responsibilities

• Hire, supervise, and schedule staff
• Plan and direct grounds maintenance
• Organize and direct construction of decks and decorative or retaining walls
• Plan, manage, and supervise landscape construction work
• Maintain work records and logs
• Read blueprints and drawings
• Repair and maintain equipment
• Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies
• Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality

Experience and Skills

• Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required
• Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years in landscaping
• Equipment and Machinery Experience: Backhoe, Chain saw, Front end loader, Pick-up truck, Small engine equipment, Sod cutter
