Our client is seeking a Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician to join their team. This role is open to international applicants, with immigration support potentially available.

Job Details

Responsibilities

• Instruct apprentices.
• Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions.
• Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment.
• Order parts and maintain inventory.
• Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts.
• Keep maintenance reports and documentation.
• Welding experience.
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance.
• Attach components and adjust new farm equipment.
• Clean, lubricate, and perform routine maintenance work.
• Perform repair work on heavy trucks.
• Service attachments and working tools.
• Verify and repair emission control systems.
• Assist process and machine operators in mineral ore and metal processing.
• Perform other routine maintenance.

Requirements

• Education: College/CEGEP or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 2 to 3 years.
• Language: English.
• Security and Safety: Criminal record check.
• Work Conditions: Physically demanding, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination.
• Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots.
