Qualifications

• Education: Secondary school graduation certificate
• Languages: English
• Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years in long-haul driving

Responsibilities

• Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions using GPS and navigation devices.
• Provide professionalism in customer service.
• Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy.
• Obtain special permits required for transporting cargo on international routes.
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods.
• Inspect and oversee the condition of the vehicle and its equipment.
• Perform emergency roadside repairs and conduct inspections.
• Perform preventive maintenance and relay information to central dispatch.
• Record cargo information, hours of service, and fuel consumption.
• Transport and handle dangerous goods.
