Our client is seeking a skilled Barber to join their team. This position is ideal for candidates looking for job opportunities in Canada, including those who may need visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on beauty care treatments.
• Analyze hair and scalp condition.
• Book appointments.
• Cut and trim hair according to client’s instructions or preferences.
• Provide custom hair and scalp treatment.
• Shampoo customers’ hair.
• Shave and trim beards and mustaches.
• Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair.
• Suggest hair styles compatible with client’s features and preferences.
• Perform receptionist duties.

Education and Credentials

• Other trades certificate or diploma.
• Barbering Trade Certification.
• Hairstylist Trade Certification.

Experience

2 years to less than 3 years in the field.

Work Setting

Located in an urban area within a barbershop or hairstyling salon/studio. Work must be completed at the physical location; there is no option to work remotely.
