Job Overview

Our client is looking for a Manager, Restaurant to join their team in Toronto, ON. This position offers visa sponsorship options for international applicants, including candidates with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Job Details

• Salary: $25.00 to $28.00 hourly (To be negotiated)
• Terms of Employment: Full-time, Term or contract

Responsibilities

• Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant’s profits.
• Develop budget to determine cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen, and cleaning supplies.
• Evaluate daily operations.
• Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget.
• Monitor revenues to determine labour cost.
• Plan and organize daily operations.
• Recruit, train, and supervise staff, including setting work schedules.
• Conduct performance reviews and enforce health and safety regulations.
• Participate in marketing plans and implementation.
• Address customers’ complaints and provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Education: College diploma or equivalent experience (1-2 years).
• Experience: 1 to less than 2 years in a similar role.
• Languages: English required.
• Knowledge of accounting software and MS Office Suite.

Work Environment

• Fast-paced environment with physical demands and attention to detail required.
• Must be able to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
