Our client is looking for an Assistant Cook in Revelstoke, BC. This position supports visa sponsorship for international applicants, with options for candidates with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Job Details

• Location: 1891 Fraser Dr, Revelstoke, BC V0E 2S0
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $18.00 to $19.40 hourly (To be negotiated)
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full time
• Work Hours: 35 hours per week
• Vacancies: 4
• Special Commitments: Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, Overtime available

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
• Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
• Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
• Clean kitchen and work areas
• Manage kitchen operations
• Sanitize kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role
• Language: English
