Our client is looking for a Family Medicine Physician to join their team in Ottawa, Ontario. This is a permanent position with potential LMIA visa support available for international candidates.

Education Requirements

• Medical Degree
• 3-year Family Medicine Residency (CCFP)

Scope of Work

• Consult patients on family medicine related cases to evaluate their physical and mental health
• Order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures to determine the most appropriate medical treatment
• Prescribe and administer medications and treatments
• Carry out in-office procedures
• Collect medical information from patients, family members, or other medical professionals
• Help patients develop total wellness habits, break old habits, and reshape their approach to wellness
• Supervise staff

Experience

• Minimum 12 months experience (preferably within a family medicine setting)

Schedule

• Flex schedule
• Monday to Friday
• 35 to 50 hours per week
