Our client is seeking a dedicated cook to join their team in Scarborough, ON. This position is open to all candidates, including those with or without a valid Canadian work permit, as immigration support may be available.

Job Details

• Location: 4286 Kingston Road, Scarborough, ON, M1E 2M8
• Salary: $17.20 per hour, 30 hours per week
• Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
• Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
• Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by dietitian or chef
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas
• Order supplies and equipment
• Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
• Clean kitchen and work areas
• Organize buffets and banquets
• Manage kitchen operations

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
• Languages: English
