Position Overview

Our client is seeking a dynamic professional to develop and execute a comprehensive consumer-facing communications strategy to enhance brand reputation and visibility in North America. This position plays a key role in supporting the goals of the Americas and Global Guest Innovation division.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and guide the external consumer media strategy for North America.
  • Oversee and manage relationships with external PR agencies, ensuring alignment with brand objectives.
  • Execute earned PR strategies tied to key product launches for maximum media coverage.
  • Cultivate media opportunities by building relationships with influencers and journalists.
  • Support the company during regional crisis situations in collaboration with various teams.
  • Ensure a unified brand voice through collaboration across communications teams.
  • Co-create with Social, Partnerships, and Sports Marketing to drive proactive brand activations.
  • Manage and build a team to support communications priorities over time.

    • Qualifications

  • 12 to 15 years of experience in communications roles, preferably in fashion or retail.
  • Ability to articulate strategies with various stakeholders, including executive leaders.
  • Proven success in managing communications strategies for major brands and external agencies.
  • Experience in leading teams and fostering growth opportunities.
  • Strong capability in developing forward-looking strategies in dynamic environments.
  • Success in collaborating with high-profile talent.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Able to build relationships across diverse cultures and geographies.
  • Naturally inspires others with a commitment to learning and personal development.
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications or related discipline; fluent in English.

    • Compensation and Benefits

    Our client’s compensation is based on a pay-for-performance philosophy. The typical hiring range for this position is from $157,400 – $206,600 CAD annually, influenced by market location and experience. Eligible employees may participate in competitive bonus programs and equity offerings.
