Licensed Practical Nurse Opportunity

Our client is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses to join their team at The Gardens at Qualicum Beach in Qualicum Beach, B.C. This role offers opportunities for international applicants, as LMIA sponsorship is available.

Shifts

Full-time shifts available:

• 06:30 – 14:30
• 14:30 – 22:30
• 22:30 – 06:30

Responsibilities

• Resident admissions, discharges, and transfers
• Conducting resident assessments and care planning
• Administering medications, treatments, and wound care
• Working with electronic documentation (PointClickCare) and MDS Assessments
• Liaising with physicians, families, and care team members
• Delegating tasks to unregulated care providers
• Participating in Care Conferences and Medication reviews

Qualifications

• Registered and in good standing with BCCNM
• Current CPR/First Aid Certificate
• Competent in electronic documentation and eMar
• Fluent in English (verbal and written)
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
• Previous experience in Long Term Care preferred
• Proof of full vaccination
