Our client is looking for a Food Service Supervisor to join their team. This role offers potential support for candidates with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

• Location: Okotoks, AB
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $18.00 per hour / 40 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent full-time
• Special Commitments: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend shifts
• Vacancies: 1 vacancy

Education and Experience

• Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years
• Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years in a supervisory role

Responsibilities

• Establish methods to meet work schedules
• Requisition food and kitchen supplies
• Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
• Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
• Hire food service staff
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
• Prepare budget and cost estimates
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
• Establish work schedules

Supervision

• Supervision of 3-4 staff members
