Job Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager for a restaurant position. Visa sponsorship may be available for overseas candidates.

• Location: Calgary, AB

• Salary: $25.00 per hour (35 to 40 hours per week)
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
• Shift: Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift

Responsibilities

• Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
• Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies.
• Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities.
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns.
• Provide customer service.
• Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations.

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.
• Languages: English

Additional Information

• Supervision: 5-10 people.
• Transportation/Travel: Public transportation is available.
