Our client is seeking a Truck Driver to join their team. Visa sponsorship may be considered for qualified international applicants.

Job Details

• Location: 6191 Atlantic Drive, Mississauga, ON, L5T 1N7
• Salary: $36.00 per hour, 32 to 37 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
• Special Commitments: Morning, Day, Shift, Flexible hours, Overtime available
• Vacancies: 3

Responsibilities

• Load and unload goods
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
• Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
• Perform emergency roadside repairs
• Perform preventive maintenance
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption
• Transport and handle dangerous goods

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: Experience is an asset
• Language: English
