• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $28.50 hourly / 40 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full time

Overview

• Languages: English
• Education Required: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
• On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Calculate the cost of truck repairs and new parts if needed
• Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions using GPS equipment
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns
• Coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques
• Arrange travel and make reservations
• Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
• Load and unload goods
• Obtain special permits required to transport cargo on international routes
• Operate and drive trucks to transport goods and materials
• Inspect vehicle condition and perform necessary checks
• Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch
• Record cargo information, hours of service, and fuel consumption
• Ensure safety and security of cargo
• Transport and handle dangerous goods

Credentials

• Certificates Required: AZ class license
