Job Overview

Our client is seeking a Meat Cutter for retail or wholesale. Visa sponsorship is potentially available for candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Job Details

• Location: 1708 Bowen Road, Nanaimo, BC, V9R 1G5
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $23.85 hourly / 40 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent full-time
• Special Commitments: Flexible hours
• Vacancies: 4 vacancies

Responsibilities

• Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting
• Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers
• Cut, trim and prepare standard cuts of meat
• Wrap and package prepared meats
• Remove bones from meat
• Weigh meats for sale

Qualifications

• Languages: English
• Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required
• Experience: Will train
• On Site Requirement: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
