Job Details

Our client is seeking an Optical Laboratory Assistant to join their dynamic team. This position offers visa sponsorship for international candidates, including those with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Responsibilities

• Set up and dismantle equipment.
• Clean and maintain equipment.
• Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies.
• Operate and maintain sterilization equipment and instrumentation for re-use according to standardized safety practices.
• Maintain supplies and equipment inventory.
• Perform general clerical duties including processing files and paperwork.
• Schedule and confirm appointments.
• Take patients’ general medical and ophthalmic history.
• Order supplies and equipment.
• Organize and maintain inventory.

Work Conditions

• Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling.

Requirements

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
