• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
• Work Conditions: Must handle heavy loads and pay attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Prepare layouts in conformity with building codes, using measuring tools
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
• Cut materials using power tools or by hand
• Follow emergency and safety procedures

Experience and Specialization

• Specialization in walls and other interior areas (i.e., partitions)
